Meet the founder
I went looking for something gentle. Something I could take in the middle of a busy day. And still feel like myself.
Pause wasn't created in a boardroom. It was created in the middle of chaos. Between naps, after bedtime and in the early hours of the morning. I was juggling a household and the weight of expectations, and I kept searching for something that would soften the edges without taking me away from the moments that mattered.
Because I knew I couldn't be the only parent craving a little more steadiness.
I discovered L-theanine last year and it changed everything. The shift was quiet but unmistakable. I went from feeling reactive and overwhelmed to feeling like myself again. I started enjoying parenthood rather than surviving it. And I kept thinking, if this helped me, it could help so many others walking the same path.
Most L-theanine options on the market are drinks (too time consuming) or capsules (too clinical and just another thing to add to my to-do list). As parents, we need things to be quick, easy, and a small moment of enjoyment in our day.
So I set out to build something that actually fit into a parent's life. No mixing, no measuring. Just one small, delicious pause.
That's when I realised there had to be a better way.
