Quality & Transparency

Independently tested.

We believe you should know exactly what you're taking. That's why our first production batch of Pause was sent to an independent, NATA-accredited third-party laboratory for full analysis before it reached you, with testing recommended annually moving forward.

What we test for

  • Identity: confirming the active ingredients are exactly what we claim (L-theanine and magnesium glycinate).
  • Potency: verifying that each serve delivers the stated amounts of L-theanine and elemental magnesium.
  • Microbiology & heavy metals: tested for the specified microbiological organisms and heavy metals against the acceptance criteria applicable to the tested batch.

Independent laboratory

Testing is conducted by ALS Global, a NATA-accredited, independent third-party laboratory in Australia. We work with ALS at arm's length from our manufacturer so the results are objective and trustworthy.

The first production batch is tested comprehensively. Future testing can be requested as needed and is recommended annually.

Batch identification

Each jar of Pause is marked with a batch number so you can trace the first production batch back to its test results. Find your batch number printed on the base of your jar.

Our commitment

Our first production batch is independently tested by ALS Global before sale, and we recommend repeating testing annually to maintain quality and transparency.

We only reference Pause as "third-party tested" in our marketing because a Certificate of Analysis (COA) has been provided for the tested batch, and we are careful to word this in line with compliance requirements.

If you have any questions about testing, results, or how to read your Certificate of Analysis, we are here to help.
